Mysteriously, life is engendered by symmetries of events that are not directly related, but that vibrate in a strange tune. Coincidentally, on one of my first returns to Porto Alegre to take a look at the situation in the flooded apartment, I found the entire city devastated. A cyclone had just passed.
It is very shocking to see the bowels of the earth exposed to the wind. The image of two large trees overturned in the Parque Marinha do Brasil was for a long time revolving my thoughts. Everything upside down; the roots above embody the haunting scene of the infinite turning in the perennial cycle of things.
